3D modeling

The design or reproduction of a physical form as a three-dimensional model with appropriate graphic software. 3D models provide the data on the basis of which components are made by additive manufacturing. There are numerous programs for creating three-dimensional objects and there are some significant variations between them. While applications for hobby use are extremely intuitive, using professional 3D programs is complex and requires a high level of specialist knowledge.
